Frontier Foreman
★★★★☆ 4.4
Frontier Foreman is a calm base-building strategy game where you balance resources, workers and the occasional threat on the horizon. There's no timer breathing down your neck, so you can plan at your own pace and come back whenever.
We appreciated how it handles offline play: the whole simulation runs locally, and nothing gets locked behind a daily login. Each decision has a visible consequence, which makes failure feel fair rather than random.
It takes an hour or two before the systems click, but once they do, the planning loop is hard to put down. A built-in tutorial helps without holding your hand too long.
What we liked
- Thoughtful, unhurried pacing
- Clear cause and effect
- Everything runs offline
