A week with Casinacho Games
I went into Casinacho Games expecting to be bored by day three. That didn't happen. The game is a collection of short, snappy mini-games held together by a friendly mascot, and it turns out that's a great format for a phone you pull out for ninety seconds at a time.
The controls are the first thing you notice. Everything is a tap or a swipe, the hit areas are forgiving, and I could play one-handed while holding a coffee. On the train with airplane mode on, nothing stuttered and nothing asked me to reconnect.
My favorite modes were the rhythm taps and the little obstacle lanes, because they demand a bit of timing without being punishing. A couple of the matching modes reuse their layouts too often, so those got stale by the end of the week.
If you want a game you can dip into for two minutes and then forget about, this fits. It saves locally, it opens instantly, and it never nags you. Just don't expect a deep single long session out of it.
